SARAH Sithole (42) from Shamva was stonned by her lover, Tichaona Murenza, last
Monday in a case of attempted murder, and the Zimbabwe Republic Police has
advised couples to resolve their differences amicably.
Speaking to Nehanda Guardian, Inspector Milton Mundembe, Mashonaland Central
police spokesperson said that on January 9, 2023 at around 4pm, Sarah Sithole, who
stays at Joking 8 Compound in Shamva, was sitting with her boyfriend Tichaona
Murenza when her former husband, Martin Kaseke, arrived.
Kaseke then ordered Sithole to pack her belongings so that he could collect her later
and reconcile their differences. Sithole agreed.
However, this did not go down well with Murenza, who picked up a stone and struck
Sarah Sithole after her ex-husband had left.
Murenza fled after noticing that his lover was unconscious. Chipo Sithole, who is a
younger sister to Sarah Sithole rushed Sarah to Shamva Hospital and reported the
matter at Shamva police station.
Efforts to locate Murenza are still underway.
