GWANDA – BRIGHTWELL “MudeLude Ndlovu, an upcoming rhumba musician, has
entered the rhumba music scene in style, with his music sounding more mature than
    his age.
He quickly takes his listeners down memory lane with sounds reminiscent of the likes
of Mlambos Express Band, Nkinga and Ndux Junior.
He credits the maturity of his music to brushing shoulders with some of the senior
musicians in the rhumba music genre.
He has been with musicians such as Mcebisi Mlilo of Amathonga Amahle, Bright
Main Switch Mlilo, Ndux Junior as well as Mlambos Express Band frontman,
    Fiselani SamaNgwe Ngwenya.
I have come this far because I have worked with some of the best musicians in the
rhumba music scene," said the lanky musician in an interview with Ilanga.
Having started off as a dancer, MudeLude finally took up the microphone in 2017
and has not looked back ever since.
MudeLude set up his own band then called Shake Express Band. He has released
two albums to date, Umnyaka in 2019 and Sekuchithek' beer in 2021.
Excellently backed up with good rythm and an equally high quality sound, MudeLude
chants about sites in his area and even mentions popular Omalayitsha in his
Matshetsheni communal area such as Tobias, Thamu and Van Roy.
His music also focuses on a number of social issues, comforts those who are in
    distress as well as entertains.
Besides singing and dancing, MudeLude has also tried his hand at the rhythm guitar.
He reckons that his mature music would even be very far in the coming five years.
"I think we would have gone far in coming years. I will always pay tribute to Ndux
Junior because he has opened up many avenues for me," said the musician who is
    based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
His band has performed live at a number of venues in Bulawayo such as The Blue
Lagoon, Marisha Bar as well as in Gwanda North area where he hails from.
MudeLude and The Shake Express Band staged a live performance at The Blue
    Lagoon on Saturday.
