An Iranian biotech company has announced the development of an innovative anti-cancer drug that promises to extend the lives of patients while minimising common side effects such as hair loss and weight loss. This is reported by ParsToday, a partner of TV BRICS.

The new therapy utilises antibody–drug conjugates or ADCs technology, which enables the medication to directly target cancerous tissues. This combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy delivers higher efficacy while reducing the dosage needed for treatment.

It was introduced the drug, designed to treat breast cancer and certain digestive cancers. Experts say that the targeted approach not only enhances treatment effectiveness but also leads to significantly fewer adverse effects.
