    Police stumbles upon dead body

    GWERU – Police who were mounting a roadblock during Operation “Tame the Traffic Jungle” near
    Fairmile Hotel along Bulawayo Road stumbled on a dead body on the side of the road.
    The dead man has been identified as James Zenzo Nyathi of Ascot Suburb in the city
    Midlands Police Spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said the body had two fractures on one
    of the legs and bruises all over.

    He said a kitchen knife was found in his trousers’ pockets.
    “It is confirmed that police picked a man’s dead body near Fairmile Hotel along Bulawayo Road in
    Gweru on October 2 at 6am,” Insp Mahoko said.
    “After circulation of information, the body was identified to be of a local person James Zenzo Nyathi
    (38) of Ascot High Density Suburb,” he said.
    Police is looking for information to establish what could have transpired leading to the man’s death.
