DANGEROUS machete wielding gangs have re-appeared in Mashonaland Central’s
    Bindura and Mazowe districts.
In a notice from Glendale ZRP station, communities are being warned to be on alert of
    these gangs.
“Currently, we are having an increase in machete robberies, targeting business
    persons, farmers and local residents.
“May you quickly report cases as soon as possible? Jumbo Mine is almost closed,
hence these hooligans are targeting neighbouring farmers and business people for
    survival,” reads the notice.
Commuters have also been warned against travelling during late hours and against
keeping large amounts of money at home.
“May you avoid travelling during late hours and also avoid attracting criminals by
disclosing your plans to everyone,” it further states.
