    President Mnangagwa makes three key appointments

    Harare, (New Ziana) – President Emmerson Mnangagwa has re-assigned two cabinet ministers and replaced the Director General in his office.

    In a statement, the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Martin Rushwaya said the appointments were with immediate effect.

    In the cabinet reshuffle, July Moyo and Edgar Moyo swapped ministries to Energy and Power Development and Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare respectively.

    Rushwaya said the re-assignments were done in terms of Subsection 1 of section 104 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe. Meanwhile, President Mnangagwa has also appointed Dr Fulton Mangwanya as the new Director General in his office.

    “In terms of section 226(1) of the constitution of Zimbabwe, His Excellency President, Cde Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has appointed Dr Fulton Mangwanya as the Director General, President’s Department,” said Dr Rushwaya.
