Harare, (New Ziana) – The Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Wednesday announced the resignation of its chief executive officer Kenny Ndebele, which will take effect on Thursday this week.

In a statement, Kudzai Bare the PSL communications and media liaison officer confirmed the resignation of Ndebele, without giving details surrounding the reason for his departure.

The PSL expressed its gratitude for his “outstanding leadership and dedicated service,” highlighting how his contributions were vital in driving the success of the league.

“We wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” Bare said in a statement, adding that Rodwell Thabe has been appointed as the acting chief executive officer.

Thabe’s experience and understanding of the league’s operations are expected to ensure continuity during the period of change.

Bare said the PSL is committed to keeping its supporters informed as it embarks on a new chapter, ensuring that its legacy continues to thrive.
