Harare (New Ziana)-Seven people have been nabbed for allegedly impersonating Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority rangers while trying to sell fake rhino horns in Gokwe, Midlands province, an official said on Thursday.

Zimparks spokesperson Tinashe Farawo confirmed the arrest of the seven accused persons.

“7 people have been arrested for attempting to sell fake rhino horns in Gokwe,” he said.

“They are expected to appear in court soon,” he said without giving further details.

He said the authority managed to recover fake Zimparks identity cards that were being used by the accused.
