    Seven killed in mine gas explosion

    Harare (New Ziana)-Seven people, including six foreigners died on Thursday after some gas cylinders exploded at a mine in Mazowe, police said on Friday.
    National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said one person was critically injured in the incident.
    “The Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating the circumstances in which six foreign nationals as well as a Zimbabwean died when some gas cylinders exploded at SAS Mine, Lowdale on 7 October 2021.
    “One person was critically injured and is currently admitted at a local hospital. More details to follow in due course as the scene is being attended,” said Nyathi.
