Harare(New Ziana) –The late Zanu PF secretary for Information and Publicity, Simon Khaya Moyo has been declared a national hero.
Zanu PF secretary for administration Obert Mpofu confirmed Khaya Moyo’s national hero status.
“And the Heroes Acre awaits yet another hero’s rest. Thanks to President Mnangagwa for conferring a national hero status to my brother SK,” he tweeted.
Khaya-Moyo, who served in various capacities in government died on Sunday aged 76 in a hospital in Bulawayo where he was receiving treatment for cancer.
