Harare, (New Ziana) – Three people died, and 10 others escaped with injuries when a six-seater Toyota Probox vehicle carrying 13 passengers side swiped with another vehicle along Harare-Chirundu Road on New Year’s eve, police have said.

The accident happened on December 31, 2024 at the 136 km peg along.

“Three people were killed while ten others were injured when an Isuzu KB 250 vehicle with no passengers on board side swiped with a Toyota Probox vehicle with 13 passengers on board,” said the police.

The bodies of the victims were later ferried to Chinhoyi Provincial hospital for postmortems while the injured were also admitted at the same hospital, said the police.
