Zhombe (New Ziana) – A 21-year old man has been nominated as headman for Zhombe Central by Chief Cyprian Malisa in a ceremony held under the supervision of the Kwekwe District Development Coordinator’s representative at Fafi Primary School in Kwekwe.

Munashe Dube of Nduku clan, will replace his uncle and acting headman, John Dube, who had been at the helm for more than 15 years following the demise of the substantive headman Mike Dube in 2004.

The nomination comes after Munashe reached the age of majority, qualifying him to assume the role of traditional leader as enshrined in the country’s constitution.

The Nduku clan uses a linear succession principle.
