A 56-year-old Muzarabani man was killed by his wife of 10 years last Sunday.

Mashonaland Central ZRP deputy spokesperson, Sargeant Major Samuel Chikasha, confirmed arresting Martha Mushawemhuka for the crime.

Circumstances are that on October 6 Jethro Mudhakwa and the accused arrived home around 11pm from a beer drink at Muzarabani Business Centre.

They had a misunderstanding over an unknown issue and Mushawemhuka picked up a metal object and struck Mudhakwa once on the head and he collapsed.

He bled profusely from the cut.

A neighbour heard him crying for help and went to his rescue.

“On arrival she found Martha seated on top of her bleeding husband.

“She told her that the metal object was grabbed by an unknown female who disappeared into oblivion,” said Sgt Major Chikasha.
