Harare, (New Ziana) – The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZIMPARKS) on Tuesday announced two senior management appointments aimed at strengthening its public engagement and digital transformation agenda.
The appointments are with effect from 1 April 2026.
In a statement, the authority announced the appointment of Luckmore Safuli as public relations manager and Pauline Matinhure as Information Communication Technology (ICT) manager.
“Safuli brings extensive experience in communications, particularly within wildlife conservation and the media sector. His professional background includes key roles at the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), the Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA) Secretariat, and the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC).
“He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on strategic management and leadership, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Media Studies. His career achievements have been recognized through several awards, including the Projects Reporter of the Year TV award and a runner-up accolade at the National Journalists Merit Award,” ZIMPARKS said.
The authority indicated that under his leadership, the organization expects to deepen its engagement with the media, stakeholders, and the public, fostering greater awareness and shared responsibility in wildlife conservation.
On Matinhure, ZIMPARKS said she joins the organisation with a strong track record in information systems and technology leadership across public sector institutions.
She holds a Master of Science in Engineering Project Management, a Master of Commerce in Information Systems Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Her expertise includes information security, IT governance, systems integration, and business process management.
“Her experience spans industries such as energy, electricity, and wildlife conservation,” the authority said. It expressed confidence that her skills will support modernization efforts and enhance operational efficiency through robust ICT systems.
