Gweru (New Ziana)– The Midlands Show Society has so far confirmed 15 new exhibitors for the 2022 edition of the Midlands Show which is targeting 160 exhibitors.

This year’s show to be held from 18 to 21 August will run under the theme: “Focus, Innovate and Attain Sustainable Economic Development.”

Midlands Show Vice President Emmanuel Zimbandu said new exhibitors include Surrey Group, Valley Seeds, Sisters College, Zimfep and Tsapo Investments among others.

He said 75 percent of expected exhibitors had already confirmed participation.

“We have upped our game in terms of preparations and we are admitting the late comers so that we are accommodative to everyone. There are some stands that are still empty but we hope some will be taken up,” Midlands Show Vice President said.

Zimandu said they are also expecting farmers to come with their produce.

The Midlands Show Society is also making frantic efforts to bring on board mining giants in the province who include Unki, Mimosa Mines and others.

The main activities include the Business Day for exhibitors on the first day, the Business Conference on August 19 and the exhibition reception and dinner on the same day.
