The Zimbabwean music community has been struck by sad news following the reported death of Barnabas Mandipotsa, a longtime backing vocalist for Alick Macheso’s Orchestra Mberikwazvo.
Mandipotsa, known among fans for his steady stage presence and harmonies that helped shape the band’s signature sound, is said to have passed away under circumstances that are still unclear.
