Kwekwe – Premier Soccer League side Hardrock FC has appointed Tendai George Alimenda as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect, replacing Kudzanayi Hove, who was suspended by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) following misconduct linked to the violence that marred the club’s Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against Dynamos at Chahwanda Stadium.

The appointment was confirmed by the club in a statement issued on Thursday.

Hardrock FC said Alimenda’s promotion follows his distinguished service as the club’s administrator, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism and commitment to the growth and development of the club.

“Hardrock Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Tendai George Alimenda as the Club’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect,” the club said.

The club said Alimenda’s experience, institutional knowledge and vision would strengthen its operations and drive its strategic objectives both on and off the field.

It expressed confidence that the new CEO will provide the leadership needed to guide Hardrock FC into its next chapter as the club pursues sustained growth and success.

Hardrock FC wished Alimenda success in his new role.

The appointment follows the suspension of former CEO Kudzanayi Hove by the PSL over his conduct during the crowd violence that erupted at Chahwanda Stadium during Hardrock FC’s league encounter against Dynamos, an incident that resulted in disciplinary action by the league.
