KWEKWE — Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has given Kwekwe another opportunity and responsibility to host
the Zimbabwe A against Pakistan A four day first class cricket match at Kwekwe Sports Club from
May 3 to 6.
The opportunity will immensely benefit Midlands Cricket Association and their Rhinos Cricket Club
who also use Kwekwe Sports Club as their home ground.
Kwekwe Sports club and the Rhinos management team led by General Manager Admire Marodza,
and Adminstrator Victor Mhlanga are ecstatic about hosting the international game. Kwekwe hosted
some of the 2008 ICC World Cup qualifiers together with Harare and Bulawayo.

time and environment. He prepared the centre for Australia, Tanzania, Nigeria and the 2008 World
cup qualifiers.
Rhinos General Manager Marodza said it was an honour for Kwekwe and the Midlands province to
host the international between Zimbabwe A and Pakistan A.
We are hosting Pakistan A versus Zimbabwe A four day game. For us as Rhinos and as Midlands, it
is such a huge honour, for us to host such matches. We would really love to host games of this
magnitude very often.
We appreciate this and we will make sure that we do our best to make this match a success. We are
going to market the game in the whole province and everyone should know about this game. Even
though it is during the week, we want people to come in and support the team.
This is a perfect opportunity for us to market our Rhinos cricket brand. We really cherish such
moments, said Marodza.
Fans expect to see the best cricket players from both teams bowling and batting at the centre for
four days.
