(TV BRICS- Trinity Mirror)- As Brazil takes over the presidency of the G20 on December 1st, it will spearhead an innovative agenda in developing the bioeconomy, while establishing collaborative task forces to combat hunger, inequality, and climate change.

President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva affirmed Brazil’s commitment to achieving tangible outcomes while invigorating ongoing multilateral endeavors through the G20 platform. This is reported by Trinity Mirror, a partner of TV BRICS.
He said there is a need to “restore the three dimensions of sustainable development and accelerate the pace of implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” initiated by the UN.

The motto of Brazil’s G20 presidency will be “building a just world and a sustainable planet,” the president said.

In 2025, Brazil will host the 30th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, where it intends to present “an ambitious climate agenda that guarantees a sustainable planet,” Lula said.
