Masvingo (New Ziana) – Masvingo province has recorded a new Covid 19 death, the eighth it has registered since the outbreak of the pandemic in March.
Masvingo provincial medical director, Amadeus Shambu said the patient died shortly after admission to Rujeko Isolation Centre on Monday.
He said the province had 15 active cases of Covid 19.
Since the first cases were reported in Masvingo in May, the province has had 329 recorded cases of which 306 have recovered.
