Share

PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has said the future of the country lies in digital education
and urged individuals to take advantage of innovation hubs in order to explore their talents.
Speaking during the commissioning of 18 buses at Phelandaba Stadium in Gwanda last
Thursday, President Mnangagwa said the country was going to be driven by Science and
Technology as this is evidenced by education 5.0 that is being implemented at different
institutions.
The future of the world is going to be driven by Science and Technology. It’s a digital world,
therefore, we introduced education 5.0 in all institutions so that we build our own,” said
President Mnangagwa.
The country could not be constructed by people without knowledge but those with knowledge
can build their country, so people must acquire enough skills to build their country.
Ilizwe lakhiwa ngabanikazi balo, therefore, through knowledge we can build our country and be
an independent country. Therefore people must acquire skills that are needed in construction of
the country.
The country is still battling with sanctions, therefore as a country we should think outside the
box and be able to build our country, brick by brick, using the resources available in the
country, he said.
The last five years had seen innovation hubs being established at various institutions after
recognising the talent that the Zimbabwe students have.
The environment at the innovation hubs would allow them to fully explore their talents.
