THE Ministry of Local Government and Public Works has embarked on a nationwide inspection of Government buildings in order to assist it in updating the immovable asset register for all Government properties.

The inspection commenced on January 2 countrywide.

The inspection is also aiming to ascertain the state of these structures, so that where renovations are needed, they will be undertaken.

The exercise is being spearheaded by the Department of Valuation and Estate Management.
